Central Pennsylvania roofing company pledges $250 for every roof it replaced in July through the Ronald McDonald’s House Give a Little Love campaign
MIFFLINBURG, Pa. (August 13, 2026) Equity Roofing presented a check for $9,750 to the Ronald McDonald House of Danville this week, completing a month-long charitable campaign that tied the company's July roof replacements directly to families staying at the House.
Through its Give a Little Love campaign, Equity Roofing committed $250 to the organization for every roof the company replaced during the month of July. Thirty-nine Central Pennsylvania homeowners chose Equity Roofing over that stretch, and every one of those projects added to the total.
The Ronald McDonald House of Danville provides lodging and support for families whose children are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals, often families who have traveled hundreds of miles from home and have nowhere else to stay.
"At Equity Roofing, we believe in supporting the community that supports us," said Allen Stoltzfus, Founder and Managing Member of Equity Roofing, “and we’re honored to partner with organizations like The Ronald McDonald House.”
Michael Turlis, Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Danville, stated, “Because of your donation, we are able to continue our services providing a 19-bedroom facility for families with ill children, a one-week cancer camp, and a respite area inside the hospital, called a family room. Thank you.”
Stoltzfus credited both customers and staff for the result. "To every homeowner who trusted us with their roof this July, and to our sales team who carried this campaign every day of the month, thank you. You made this possible."
Equity Roofing plans to continue its community giving through various efforts across the Danville area, including a recent $3,000 donation toward new uniforms for the Danville High School football team.
