Equity Roofing Welcomes WNEP 16 ABC News to Its Mifflinburg Office

MIFFLINBURG, Pa. (November 7, 2026) – Equity Roofing welcomed Jackie Lewandoski of WNEP-TV to its Mifflinburg office for a Local Focus segment that aired on Weekend Morning Newswatch on Saturday, November 7. In the segment, sponsored by Equity Roofing, founder and managing member Allen Stoltzfus talked about free roof inspections, the company's roof, siding, and gutter services, and how homeowners across Central Pennsylvania can get answers to their roofing questions.

Free Inspections, With Photos Included

Most homeowners can't see their roof up close, and that makes it hard to know what's really going on up there. That's why Equity Roofing starts with a free inspection.

"Our standard inspections for our homeowners are free, and that includes all the photo documentation we take while we're there," Stoltzfus said.

A residential inspection takes about two hours. Most of that time goes into documenting the roof and planning solutions, not sitting at your kitchen table. When it's done, you get photos of what the inspector found, so you can see your roof's condition for yourself and make a decision you feel good about.

Roof, Siding, and Gutters in One Place

Roofing is the heart of what Equity Roofing does, but it isn't the only thing the team does.

"Our main other service is siding, siding and gutters," Stoltzfus said. "So if you want to completely transform the exterior, we can do your roof, your siding, and your gutters."

Having one company handle the whole exterior means one point of contact, one schedule, and one team that knows your home. Equity Roofing backs its roofing work with a 25-year workmanship warranty and its siding work with a 10-year written workmanship warranty.

Not Ready to Schedule? Start Learning First

Not everyone is ready to book an inspection, and that's okay. Equity Roofing believes every homeowner deserves straight answers, whether or not they ever hire us.

"If you're just not quite ready to schedule an inspection, you can go to our YouTube channel. It's Roofing Education Station," Stoltzfus said.

On Roofing Education Station, you'll find plain-spoken videos about roof inspections, materials, warning signs, and what to expect from a replacement.
